01 / THE BIG IDEA
An independent AI-powered tourist board for the Isle of Wight. Local knowledge, working for local business.
Every business that joins AI-Islander gets its own digital host: a recognisable AI avatar, powered by an agent that knows its business. It connects your social audience, your business knowledge and the wider island network to help turn interest into visits.
With regional guides proposed for North, South, East and West Wight, the idea is simple: local knowledge that helps the right people find the right businesses, wherever they explore.

05 / MADE FOR ISLAND BUSINESSES
INDEPENDENT SPIRIT. COLLECTIVE MOMENTUM.An independent island network with one purpose: help more people discover your business, choose it and step through your door.
A NEW WAY TO FIND YOUR NEXT CUSTOMER
People can now ask AI for the experience they want: a sea view, somewhere dog-friendly, a place to stay near the beach. Discovery is becoming a conversation, with recommendations shaped around the details.
We bring your location, menus, opening hours and local character into the island's shared knowledge. Your digital host uses those details to answer useful questions and connect interest to your business.
Give your business a voice“Where can we have lunch by the sea on the Isle of Wight? We have a dog and one of us is vegetarian.”
A useful recommendation starts with knowing the details that make your business a good fit.

YOUR DIGITAL HOST. A WHOLE ISLAND BEHIND IT.
Give your business its own digital host, connected to a network built to turn local discovery into enquiries, bookings and visits.
Designed to welcome people through the web at home and through NFC or QR points on the island, with no AI-Islander download. One host, many ways in ↗
The avatar is its familiar face. The AI agent behind it brings the journey together: a story on your social channels, a recommendation from an island guide, answers that help someone choose you, and a clear next step to your door.
Island Brain Hub brings the knowledge, content planning, local recommendations and human review together. Your team sets the offer and approves the content; the network team manages the shared technology.
INSIDE ISLAND BRAIN HUB
Island Brain Hub brings the practical work together: what your business knows, how it welcomes guests, and how the network tells its story.
Give your agent your menus, prices, opening hours, events and useful venue information. Its answers draw on the details you supply, helping guests get to know your business.
A web link opens the welcome on a computer, tablet or phone. NFC and QR points bring that welcome into the island's places. Text and voice use the same venue knowledge, where configured.
Plan themes on a content calendar and create coordinated scripts across the network's personas. Drafts go through a human approval queue before they are ready to publish.
Mark your venue Quiet, Medium or Very busy. The network uses that update to favour places with room and steer recommendations away from venues at capacity.
A partner portal brings activity into view, with content requests and approval controls according to your package. Reports show generated mentions by persona, channel and date.
The Hub organises venue details for connected AI services. Its recommendation system considers location, visitor intent and venue status, then supplies a relevant next-step link.
YOUR FIRST STEPS
Shape your digital host. Add your business knowledge. Agree your social content, channel connections and welcome experience.
Features are configured for your venue and package during onboarding. Content activity reports show generated mentions; they do not measure confirmed visits or sales.
Your own digital host in the island's shared network.
A connected story, told through the network's personalities.
A deeper connection between your venue and the island.
Every package includes your own digital host: an avatar and AI agent. Appearance, capabilities, social publishing and messaging connections, support, pricing and rollout are agreed with the AI-Islander team.
06 / THE PEOPLE STAY IN CHARGE
Built around local value, clear information, and a human hand on the controls.
AI-Islander is an independent network bringing island businesses, local knowledge and digital hosts together. We use “AI tourist board” to describe that shared role: helping people discover the island, find useful answers and connect with places to eat, drink, stay and explore. “Built to deliver” means designing every recommendation around a useful next step towards an enquiry, booking or visit. Outcomes depend on your offer, demand and the connections configured for your business.
Visitors can ask AI detailed questions about where to eat, stay or spend their time. Clear public pages and current business listings help search services understand what you offer. AI-Islander organises your venue information for its own connected hosts and recommendations; inclusion in that shared knowledge does not automatically publish it to external AI services or guarantee a search recommendation. Public visibility work and any additional connections are agreed during setup. See Google's UK restaurant-search example ↗
Your digital host combines a recognisable AI avatar with an agent that draws on your business knowledge. It gives your brand a familiar face and helps connect social content, customer questions, local recommendations and the next step towards an enquiry or visit. Each joining business gets its own host, with its identity, capabilities and channel connections agreed during onboarding.
Its role is to bring the customer journey together: approved content for your social audience, answers based on your business information, relevant offers and routes to enquiries or bookings. Island Brain Hub supports the knowledge, content planning and recommendation workflows behind it. Your team controls the facts, offer terms and approvals. Publishing, messaging and booking connections depend on the services configured for your business.
We are considering four regional avatars and agents covering North, South, East and West Wight. Each would introduce visitors to its area and connect them with relevant business agents. Your own agent would then help with your specific offer and the next step towards an enquiry, booking or visit. Regional identities and assignments are still being planned.
It is Bree's private source of off-menu finds, secret locations, insider tips and local stories. As the network's lead persona, she can hint at relevant secrets and draw people into a conversation. Secret-word discounts are part of the intended visitor experience: the participating business agrees the benefit, conditions and dates. The example on this website is not a live offer.
Its venue knowledge can include food and drinks menus, prices, opening hours, upcoming events and general information. These details can be entered or uploaded and reviewed during setup. Your team keeps the information current. When a specific answer is missing, the agent is instructed to say so and offer human help.
Island Brain Hub has a partner portal and content activity reports. You can review generated mentions of your venue by persona, channel and date. Content requests, calendar access and approval controls depend on your package. These records describe content activity rather than verified customer visits or revenue.
The blueprint puts a human approval queue between generated content and public publishing. Operators can review, edit, approve, or reject a proposed post.
They share a central knowledge layer, the Shared Brain. Bree leads the conversation and has her own Secret Hub. Flo brings context and character, and Christine connects people with a practical next step. Each partner's own agent adds its business information to that connected experience, helping relevant interest reach the right business.
This website introduces the network. Island Brain Hub is the separate application containing the venue knowledge, persona conversations, content planning and partner tools described here. The scenarios on this page are illustrative. Available features, external services and venue connections are confirmed during onboarding.
No AI-Islander download is planned. The visitor experience is built around a web link that works across compatible computers, tablets and phones. Text is the starting point, with listening and conversation available where voice is configured. You choose when to start audio and allow microphone access if you want to speak.
A compatible phone reads a web link from the tag. Open the link to reach a welcome tied to that place or business, then choose to read, listen or talk. A printed QR code and short web address provide alternative ways in. The tag identifies the post; GPS is not required to know which welcome to show. Internet access is needed for current information and conversation.
That is part of the direction we are exploring. A supported speaker or voice-assistant integration would connect to the same island knowledge used by the website. Each platform has its own access, setup and approval requirements, so we will name supported devices as connections are tested and released. There is no live AI-Islander smart-speaker integration in this preview.
